Vegetable Garden

For the entrance of this vegetable garden, we planted red rose (climbers) on each side and softened up the base with a mound of catmint. The catmint works nicely here. It is inexpensive, grows like mad, and can be divided almost every year and used again in other parts of the garden, or given as gifts. The oars were handmade by a friend, Justin Thomas, of Back bay.
