We're in the final stretch! Paint is going on, finish carpentry is wrapping up and counters are going in.
The kitchen is perfect. The pulls and knobs from Top Knobs are in an antique pewter finish that looks like fine silver jewelry. A great compliment for the mahogany cabinets. The 10' island is painted a linen white with a 2" mahogany top. Counters on the mahogany cabinets are in a honed black stone with an ogee edge. The backsplash will be a beautiful, earthy tile with hints of blue, creme and brown- hand made in New Hampshire.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of the lighting go in, it will finish off the rooms nicely, more jewelry for the home!
We have ordered living room furniture and beginning to select window treatments and wall papers. Very exciting. I'm sure the owners are more than anxious to see everything finished.
The mahogany floors will be finished soon.
